I was also shocked to read how Lim Kit Siang defended Mahathir over the BMF scandal. Very surreal considering how many decades that DAP had used this BMF issue against Mahathir.
Now suddenly, LKS says Mahathir is blames.
A truly unprincipled and hypocrite person and party.
How trust what DAP says in future? Anytime can change. Even things that they have repeated tens of thousands of times over 30 years.
After blasting former Premier Mahathir Mohamad as the ‘king of demons’, Parti Cinta Malaysia vice-president Huan Cheng Guan today slammed DAP veteran leader Lim Kit Siang as the ‘king of hypocrites’.
Referring to the 1980s BMF Scandal during Mahathir’s premiership, Huan said among all critics, Kit Siang has proven “the biggest hypocrites of them all”.
Huan said Kit Siang was the one who fought Mahathir’s administration back in the 80’s both in the parliament and outside pertaining to the BMF Scandal.
Kit Siang even convinced the voters during the Seremban by-election in 1983 to make 10 demands regarding the BMF Scandal investigation.
Kit Siang also fiercely demanded for a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) to take into place and investigate the BMF Scandal.
Kit Siang was the one who wrote the infamous book about the BMF Scandal.
But now, Huan pointed out that Kit Siang had chosen to side with Mahathir, the culprit he had accused 34 years ago, when everybody had started to talk about BMF Scandal in view of recent development.
“The biggest hypocrites of them all regarding BMF Scandal is the godfather of DAP, Lim Kit Siang,” hit out Huan.
The CIA, in its summary of the BMF scandal that happened in 1980s, had hinted that circumstantial evidence suggested the scandal extended into Mahathir’s administration, who was prime minister at the time.
The summary titled ‘The Bank Bumiputera Scandal: More Trouble Ahead for Malaysia’s Mahathir?’ was written in 1985 but released online recently following the intelligence agency’s move to declassify some 13 million pages of various documents.
The BMF scandal saw Bank Bumiputera suffering a loss of USD1 billion after, together with BMF which was its subsidiary in Hong Kong, was said to have granted bad loans to several Hong Kong property speculators including the Carrian Group.
Kit Siang, then parliamentary opposition leader, was the most vocal voice to criticise Mahathir’s administration then over the financial scandal.
However, currently Kit Siang is working closely with Mahathir in an electoral alliance to defeat the Barisan Nasional federal government under Prime Minister Najib Razak in the next general election (GE14).
Disgusted by the Kit Siang-Mahathir unholy political marriage, Huan said the DAP leader had unashamedly demonstrated a level of despicable political hypocrisy that was unprecedented, unparalleled and unmatched globally.
“This was a godly new level of hypocrisy that anyone in the world could ever achieve.
“This is exactly what Lim Kit Siang is all about. He fights only for his political survival and never for the people.
“For every issue he has ever brought up, it has only been sick and evil manipulations just to gain support and popularity from the people.
“He is truly the king of all hypocrites,” blasted Huan.
