The Penang people and many DAP supporters throughout Malaysia will remember that Lim Guan Eng had gone against DAP's promises that the state government will practise open tenders and open consultations with the affected residents.
The people will remember that Lim Guan Eng had agreed to sell a piece of state land without open tender and using direct negotiations for the sale of state land worth RM156 million in Peel Avenue - which some parties have suggested is below market price.
They will also remember that the Penang Govt had hid behind a non-disclosure agreement to allow a big project in a residential area and avoid having public consultations with the affected residents.
No more Accountability and no more Transparency.
Utterly incompetent.
